Undertaking the Wye Valley Challenge

Over the weekend of the 11th and 12th of August, 1,000 adventurers walked, jogged, and ran along the stunning Wye Valley's riverside - starting out in Chepstow and finishing 100km later in Hereford.

In its inaugural year - the Wye Valley Challenge is set to raise nearly £750,000 for it's charity partners. The Wye Valley is a protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty straddling the border between Wales and England lying on the western edge of the Forest of Dean.  It’s undoubtedly one of the most scenic and dramatic landscapes of southern Britain.

Chemical Corporation’s Rhyan Wilcox undertook the challenge in order to raise funds for Crohn’s and Colitis UK.  Crohn’s and Colitis is an autoimmune condition that causes chronic pain and inflammation within a person’s digestive system.  No cure is currently available but treatments are available to help manage symptoms.

Rhyan raised £2,191.00 through 109 supporters and would like to thank everyone for supporting him and the charity.  You can still boost Rhyan’s effort by making a donation here: JUSTGIVING
