We are now recruiting for a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative.

Our Warehouse staff do a critical job in keeping our organisation running efficiently and ensuring our goods inward and customer deliveries are handled effectively. You are a important part of us running a smooth operation.

Job details:

• Receipt, handling and booking in goods inward
• Stock checking and stock management
• Picking, packing and despatch of orders
• Labelling good and parcels
• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
• Moving stock using forklift vehicle

Job terms:

• Monday to Friday (40 Hours)
• Hours 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm on Friday
• Overtime: Time and a half (when required by the business)
• Salary: National Living Wage according to age of applicant

Essential requirements:

• Numeracy and literacy
• Ability to communicate effectively with incoming delivery drivers and co-workers
• Basic computer literacy
• Diligent attention to detail
• Flexibility
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent verbal communication
• High levels of Health and Safety standards
• Current Forklift Certificate 

Physical Demands:

• Loading and unloading of goods to and from vehicles
• Moving stock around warehouse
• Packing orders
• Stacking of goods onto pallets from storage bays
• Stacking of empty pallets
